Steve Metzger

Steve Metzger is president of Biamp Systems. He joined the company in 2000 and served as a regional sales manager, and later the vice president of business development and Chief Operating Officer before being appointed president. During his tenure with the company, Steve established the product management group, expanded training to global markets, developed new business opportunities, and has contributed to the overall growth of Biamp. In 2008, he led an effort to acquire Creative Audio, an engineering company located in Brisbane Australia. Metzger is a member of the CEO Advisory Council for Greenlight Greater Portland, a regional economic development organization, and is a board member of the Good Neighbor Center, a homeless shelter for families. He spends his free time enjoying the beautiful outdoors that Oregon has to offer and woodworking. He has been married for 29 years and has one daughter in college.

Matt Czyzewski

Matt Czyzewski is the Executive Vice President of Operations at Biamp Systems. Matt is responsible for leading and managing Engineering, Manufacturing, and Education and Training departments. Prior to this, Matt served as the Vice President of Business Development and was the Vice President of Engineering for more than 10 years. During this time he led and managed the product concept and development phase for Biamp’s award-winning Audia® and Nexia® DSP product lines. Matt has been with Biamp for 15 years and has more than 25 years of industry experience.

Matt developed his passion for this industry while employed as a technician for a systems integrator in Toledo, OH. In that role he repaired equipment, designed and installed sound systems in religious, educational and commercial applications. It was during this time that he obtained his BSEE degree from the University of Toledo.

Matt is a member of IEEE, AES, and serves as the Biamp representative to the AVnu Alliance and Biamp representative for PAMA. In his spare time, Matt is an avid golfer.

Graeme Harrison

Graeme Harrison has worked for Biamp Systems for 20 years. He first started as the company’s Regional Manager in Europe serving Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. He then transitioned to International Sales Manager, Vice President of International Sales, and is now the Executive Vice President of Marketing. Prior to working for Biamp, Graeme worked with Renkus-Heinz, Inc. and Hill Audio.

Graeme’s first degree was in chemistry and he also worked as a research chemist for various petroleum companies, including BP. However, he made the move from chemistry to his first love, music, because he was and still is a musician. His music experience these days is limited to thrashing about on the drum set in his basement and occasional forays with the Biamp band.

Actively involved with TED (Technology Entertainment and Design), Graeme attends TED Global each year as well as other regional TED conferences to gather ideas from outside of the industry and meet and exchange ideas with new innovative individuals from a wide array of backgrounds. Beyond being passionate about meeting new people, he’s passionate about food, wine, traveling, as well as environmentalism and corporate social responsibility (CSR) and worked alongside Steve Metzger to found the Charitable Leadership Committee within Biamp. Graeme is also a member of the Northwest China Export Council.

Ron Camden

Ron Camden is Biamp Systems’ Vice President of Global Sales and has more than 24 years of experience working in AV technologies. As a recognized leader in the industry, he’s passionate about sharing innovations and identifying trends. In addition to his position at Biamp, Ron is heavily involved with InfoComm International. As a principal voice in AV technology issues, Ron has put issues of building safety and sustainability in the spotlight. He is also a valuable resource for those experiencing the AV/IT convergence. A graduate of Oregon State University, he’s a rabid Beavers fan.

Paula Linn

Paula Linn is Vice President of Manufacturing at Biamp. She started with Biamp in 1982 and has since held a number of different positions within the company, including assembly, inventory control, purchasing, materials management, and finally manufacturing. Serving in these capacities has given her a birds eye view of the entire Biamp experience.

When not wearing her various Biamp ‘hats,’ Paula is an outdoors person and enjoys gardening, walking, running, cycling and creating her own metal yard art via welding. She also loves her dogs and her grandchildren.

Alex Buchanan-Munro

Alex Buchanan-Munro is the chief financial accountant at Biamp Systems where he has responsibility for the company’s financial operations, reporting and forecasting. He has been a part of the company for more than three years.

Alex hails from the United Kingdom and studied accounting and finance at the University of Brighton. In his spare time, Alex enjoys running along with other activities in the great outdoors.

Read Wineland

Read Wineland is the Regional Director Eastern North America for Biamp Systems and has been with the company since 1995. Previously he was an independent representative for Biamp and several other professional audio product lines, based in Ohio.

Read started his audio career in 1973 with White House Communications while in the US Air Force, serving Presidents Nixon and Ford. Following his military career he worked for Hollywood Sound Systems in Los Angeles working on projects such as House PA for NBC’s Saturday Night Live, The Academy Awards and The Emmy Awards. Read installed the original wireless microphone systems for the NFL, which the referees continue to use today.

Read holds a CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification awarded by InfoComm, the AV Industry’s governing body, and is a member of the Audio Engineering Society.

Michael Frank

Michael Frank is Biamp Systems’ Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager. Michael has seen the business from a variety of positions throughout his career. Prior to joining the Biamp Systems team, Michael was Crestron’s Regional Manager, Consultant Marketing Development liaison for the 14 state Midwest Region. Prior to Crestron, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cleveland Corporate Services, a Northern Ohio integrator. Currently, he is also a Reservist in our United States military. Michael retains the InfoComm International CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification.

Dayna Lyons

Dayna Lyons is the Human Resources Director at Biamp Systems and chairs the Charitable Giving Committee at the company.

Dayna holds an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute.

TJ Adams

TJ is a product manager at Biamp Systems and oversees the development, releases and support of the Vocia® product line. TJ joined Biamp in 2008 and soon became the resident paging expert within the sales group. Prior to being an official Biamp employee, TJ was a Biamp partner for five years. He also held the position of IT administrator at the Tucson Airport, as well as a sales engineer and paging product designer at Com-Net Software, where he designed public address systems for transportation and healthcare applications.

TJ is a self-confessed audiophile and builds his own tube amplifiers. He has a record collection with over 1,800 titles, spanning every genre from classical to jazz to hard rock. He lives in Tucson, Arizona.

Bruce Stimpson

Bruce has been with Biamp over 20 years and is currently Regional Director of Western North America, overseeing sales operations in the western half of the United States and Canada. He has more than 25 years of experience in the audio-visual industry and is a Certified Technology Specialist with InfoComm.

In his spare time, Bruce is an active musician.

Mark Behrens

Mark is Biamp’s Software Technology Manager and has been with the company over 12 years. When Mark isn’t managing software engineers, he can most likely be found spending time with his best friend, his wife of over 15 years.

Mark is a sports car enthusiast, who enjoys driving at the locally sanctioned high performance driving events and his dream is to one day drive on all the great professional US race tracks.

Amanda Roe

Amanda has been with Biamp Systems for two years. As Brand Manager she currently oversees the global marketing and public relations efforts for the Vocia® product line. Prior to joining Biamp, Amanda held various marketing communications and PR roles with companies such as Tektronix, Xerox and Hewlett-Packard, as well as work with independent marketing and communications agencies.

Amanda frequently participates in community organizations in the town where she lives with her husband and three children. She holds a degree in International Business from Linfield College, is an avid reader and enjoys gardening, writing and family activities in her free time.

Kiley Henner

Kiley is the Education and Applications Engineering Manager at Biamp, and has been with the company over 10 years. Like many people in this industry, Kiley’s interest in audio grew out of playing in bands during college. He spent a lot of time in the university recording studio learning all he could about recording and mixing music and eventually received a degree in communications. After college, Kiley lived in San Francisco and worked for one of the largest AV rental and staging companies on the West coast for five years, learning everything about the real life application of live sound reinforcement systems. Kiley’s next position was as the in-house AV director for a large government facility, followed by working for a manufacturer in the installed sound side of the industry.

When Kiley is not at work, he spends a lot of time barbecuing and remodeling his home.
